Motorola Droid 3 Verizon

Motorola Droid 3 I recently searched for a new Android phone with full QWERTY keyboard and I found out that new Motorola Droid 3 may have all that I need for "comfort typing" and even more. Latest generation of Droid is now included in Verizon's offer and you can get it right away. Now with bigger and better Gorilla Glass 4-inch qHD screen, Moto Droid 3 also offers more power, faster response, front facing camera for video chat and better rear 8MP camera for 1080p HD video recording with HDMI TV output. Probably the best improvement on this phone is full 5-row QWERTY keyboard, it looks good and feels great to type on it because you have row reserved for numbers keys, you'll use that ALT key rarely. Good thing is that phone is already upgraded to Gingerbread (Android 2.3), bad thing is that D3 still uses 3G connection for fastest data transmission.

It may be a little bit strange for Verizon to introduce new Droid Android smartphone which actually doesn't support latest Verizon's 4G LTE network, but I think for many users network speed is not most important thing on the phone. Customers will be satisfied with all other whistles & bells; beautiful QWERTY keyboard, strong Dual Core 1Ghz processor and qHD big 4" screen. 8MP camera is not the best part of the phone but it will do the job better then most 5MP cameras, and it has auto-focus and touch-to-focus functions, plus panoramic mode and face recognition. You can upload your photos and see comments from all of your social networks including Facebook, Photobucket, Flickr, Picasa and phone also has front VGA camera which is great for Video Chat.

Motorola Droid 3 001Like other new Android smartphones, Droid3 has full HTML browser and integrated Google suite; Maps with street view, Gtalk, Gmail, Books, Places, YouTube, Calendar, etc... You can setup IMAP, POP, MSN, AOL mail, and plus you can have push email support for Gmail, Exchange and Yahoo. Calendars for Google & Exchange 2003, 2007 & 2010 can be unified in one. As you can see this phone has some nice tools for decent business use and also it's Global Ready phone, it has extra SIM card slot for your foreign SIM cards, this helps you to avoid expensive roaming calls if you travel around the world.

Droid 3 is a little bit larger and heavier then it used to be but it has much more power and new QWERTY keyboard is great. I guess this will be must-have phone for all heavy typing, the only better thing could be Swype, but you have both keyboards on this phone anyway. If you're willing to learn how to use Swype, maybe you don't need this phone, maybe you need some lighter phone without physical keyboard, I heard that new better Moto 4g LTE is coming... But, I would recommend this phone to a friend who doesn't care for fastest data speed and needs good keyboard smartphone.
