T-Mobile Galaxy S II

( 6 Votes )

Samsung galaxy S IIWhile most of the people are waiting for new iPhone 5, T-mobile is not waiting for anything, probably since they don't have deal with Apple to sell new or older iPhone(s), or they are just too confident that they're on the right track with latest Android devices. They will offer very soon two new smartphones, one is HTC Amaze 4G and the other one is Samsung Galaxy S II. Both phones will probably fight with new iPhone 5 for new customers, but not so much on T-mobile network where most selling phones are already all Androids. And, as we can see Samsung Galaxy S II is at the top of the class right now, it's enhanced specially for US version and also has stronger Qualcomm's dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 CPU. And screen is bigger too, instead of 4.3" we have slightly bigger 4.52", with one more nice improvement, we'll have 2MP front camera for our video calls instead of outdated VGA camera.

Motorola Droid 3 Verizon

( 10 Votes )

Motorola Droid 3 I recently searched for a new Android phone with full QWERTY keyboard and I found out that new Motorola Droid 3 may have all that I need for "comfort typing" and even more. Latest generation of Droid is now included in Verizon's offer and you can get it right away. Now with bigger and better Gorilla Glass 4-inch qHD screen, Moto Droid 3 also offers more power, faster response, front facing camera for video chat and better rear 8MP camera for 1080p HD video recording with HDMI TV output. Probably the best improvement on this phone is full 5-row QWERTY keyboard, it looks good and feels great to type on it because you have row reserved for numbers keys, you'll use that ALT key rarely. Good thing is that phone is already upgraded to Gingerbread (Android 2.3), bad thing is that D3 still uses 3G connection for fastest data transmission.

New Apple iPhone, old models cheaper

( 4 Votes )
It's that time of the year already, it's time to change your new (old) iPhone for a brand new iPhone 3GS with at least 32GB of memory. New iPhone is 2 times faster and 2 times better, and you can even record video now! eBay prices are already formed from $750 to $1100 for 32GB black model, but if you're starting your new contract with AT&T you can get 32GB model for $299, 16GB will be $199. I just visited official Apple page and found out about new features: now you can record, edit and upload videos directly from your iPhone, now it has voice activating feature, better search across the iPhone, and yeah, compass. They promised improved performance and updated 3D graphics which will deliver an incredible gaming experience. Is it gonna be 2 times faster? Probably not, but it will be faster for sure.

RIM BlackBerry Storm

RIM BlackBerry StormFollowing the everything-has-to-be-touch-screen trend, RIM delivered new BlackBerry Storm smartphone. With high resolution 480 x 360 pixels color display and multimedia & business capabilities, Storm almost secured place in high end phones category which is still dominated by iPhone and few HTC devices. Many RIM phone users won’t buy iPhone because of the lack of a physical keyboard and they continued to use their BlackBerry devices with qwerty keyboard. However, touch interface is here to stay and that is probably one of the reasons why RIM included their new "just a touch screen" device in their offer. As we heard from many users, typing is much better than typing on any other smartphone. This could be the big reason for many users to switch to new Verizon's star, the Storm.

T-Mobile G1 With Google

( 5 Votes )

t-mobile_g1-400x326After few months of use I finally decided to write small review for T-Mobile G1. This is my first phone based on Google's Android platform and I must say it's cool. For some of you this phone could be bulky, or not so stylish, but not for me. I like the way it sets in my hands, I can even type on sliding QWERTY keyboard with one hand. I had iPhone for some time and all I can say is it's a great phone but I still needed bigger QWERTY keyboard on my phone. If I want to write a short message touch screen is fine, but  if you want to write a letter, large keyboard is a must for me. But, nice big keyboard was not the main reason for me to keep this phone for a while. It was Android free software community and  Android operating system itself. You can install and un-install software with one click, and the best thing - it's free!
