google_phone_imageNew Linux-based smartphone (Dream) will be available for purchase in October from T-Mobile. This will be the first device delivered with Google's platform for mobile devices known as Android. This platform is a software stack for mobile devices with an operating system, middleware and key applications with main features: Application framework, Dalvik virtual machine optimized for mobile devices, Integrated browser, Optimized 2D & 3D graphics, SQLite, Media support, GSM Telephony, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3G, and Wi-Fi, Camera, GPS, compass, and accelerometer... 3D games will be normal option on smart phone devices very soon, not to mention 3D importance for business charts and software etc. But wait, what's most important to me here and probably for most of you? Short answer - 3G. Apple, iPhone - I don't think so...

dream-Finally iPhone killer? Sure, easy job for HTC company who owns 50% of the touch-screen market last time I checked. Sure they going to lose a little bit of the market, but 50% is very strong number. I really don’t care for numbers, all I needed is a simple keyboard, like I have at home on my laptop, desktop,  just a little bit smaller. I need to tell that I have big fingers (according to Apple) and iPhone was not good for me, except to watch movies, or listen the music…
All my smart phones have touch screen and keyboard, I will not go under that standard, I will accept no-keyboard phone only if the voice recognition system is perfect, and MS is working on that. Oh, yeah, I remembered, I already using that for a long time on my Kaiser, where’s that function on iPhone ? Remind me, I can’t find it. Oh, my fingers are dirty, and now my face is dirty, disgusting…
DREAM is coming soon, all I need is 3G, but Android is a nice OS, let’s see how it flow.
